Hey, I'm Karina!
I am a wife and a dog mom of 3 quirky pups. I am also a medical lab assistant in a microbiology lab, as well as a pet content creator (@bear.maggie.alf). My first passion was, and still is, photography. I photograph couples, families, and pets.
Although I have many skills and passions, drawing fulfills for me what images couldn't - creating a fun and magical world of possibilities. Whether it is a fun illustration of your pet in an iced matcha latte, or a memorial of your childhood pet. I love the limitless designs and sceneries I can come up with to bring joy into pet owners' lives while expressing my artistic output.
The Inspiration
Bear Maggie Collection was created with the support of family & friends.
I have always wished to incorporate my dogs, Bear and Maggie, in one of my crafts. I never knew it would lead me to be here today.
The idea originated when I began to experiment with painting my own dogs. Not long after, several friends were interested in getting their pets painted as well, and the rest is history.
Bear and Maggie inspire me every day. Whether it is joining the pet industry or capturing silly moments with colour.
I wouldn't be here without them.
